A Little Life Update

I guess I could call this a little life update, or a small little rebrand, or an about me because I just love talking about myself (seriously joking Y’all), or maybe it’s a little welcome and a “get to know me” for anyone that is new here to Gifted with Gab, either way, if you’re reading this, HI, and let’s get into this.

I guess I’ll start out with a little about myself and where I am in my life right now and a little bit about this space.

So, Hi, I’m Gabbie, short for Gabrielle and I currently reside in Jacksonville, FL with my cutie fiance and our new sectional couch (seriously I’m obsessed with our new couch and practically never leave it).

Speaking of cute fiancé, Andrew and I are getting married this December so it’s full on WEDDING PLANNING!

My fiancé, Andrew, and I are currently renovating my Maw-Maw’s (southern for grandma) old house in North Carolina, that we will be moving into this summer. There are a ton of reasons we’re relocating to NC but the main 3 are 1. Andrew is getting out of the Navy. 2. I want to pursue my modeling career with my agency full time and 3. Andrew is going to medical school.

So expect a full “flip this house, Joanna Gaines, renovation post” in the near future!

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2017 with a major in Communications and a minor in Art Studio, so basically I love to talk and do artsy stuff.

Literally when I close my eyes and imagine myself in 5 years, I see myself as a mom, with a coffee food truck, blogging until my heart is content, with I don’t know how many cute chunky babies and all the love. Call me crazy for being 22 and wanting kids, but my entire life I’ve loved children so the thought of being a Mom is literally on my brain 24/7.

I. LOVE. COFFEE. I love everything about coffee and could honestly write an entire post about how much I love coffee and how it makes me a better person. But for the sake of my readers just know that before I can be a productive part of society I have to have coffee (cold brew with almond milk preferably). So the idea of having a mobile coffee truck literally sounds like a jackpot.

I love sugar but have a problem processing it, seriously though my doctor told me my body doesn’t process sugar normally (that’s a whole other post, y’all), and also I just get really hyper and can’t handle the sugar crash well…. Just ask my fiancé.

Lastly, this blog, this place, it’s a place of vulnerability, a place where I share my struggles, my thoughts, my life, pretty much everything. And in the process of doing so I hope to help those who find my page and help those who have struggled, or are even still struggling, with the things that I have gone through find a place of comfort.

Gifted with Gab is a place of vulnerability, honesty and community. We weren’t meant to go through this life alone, and we certainly were not meant to handle our struggles alone, and that’s why I created this blog. To share my stories and have others share theirs.

So if you’re an OG Gifted with Gab follower or you just happened to stumble across my page because you love coffee as much as me, I’m glad you’re here and I hope you plan to stay with me on this journey.

Until next time,
